Lily was struggling in 1st or 2nd grade with math and we were watching Gumball and in "The Pizza" episode of The Amazing World of Gumball, Richard gets a job as a pizza delivery driver. He develops a method of stealing slices from the center of pizzas by pushing the remaining halves back together. Gumball and Darwin try to stop him from destroying the universe with his pizza-related antics.
We also adored his wife Nicole and how she was an achiever and it was striking too close to my marriage sometimes haha. 😱🤣
Anyway we really connected with the step by step breakdown in the episode so I made Lily a worksheet with Nicole and Richard encouraging the achieving Nicole behavior over Richard's behavior and breaking down the process of multi step subtraction problems.
Due to copywrite I can't charge for this workshet but I can encourage you to watch Gumball with the kids and have a laugh and get the homework done!

I am not perfect and have some comprehension issues, Lily and Andrew both have trouble with right and left and I made this worksheet back when Lily was learning to write her numbers to help her focus on which way is the right way to write the numbers and it did help.
